A week and a half ago I had the privilege of appearing at the Johnson County Public Library Local Author Fair. I and a couple dozen others had tables in the Whiteland branch where we displayed our books and got to talk with readers.
I found myself situated in a corner, surrounded by teachers. (Hmm… teachers around and me sitting in the corner. Where have I heard that before?)
There was a wide variety of works, from fantasy and scifi to children and teen fiction to romance and more.
The turnout was fabulous and I had some great conversations about books in general and fantasy in particular. (And the sales were nice, too!) Thanks to Erin at the library for organizing this!
