It’s been a while since I last talked about my second and third novels, so I thought I’d make a progress report.
While sales of my debut fantasy novel Mystics of Sonoduhl continue, I’ve finished writing and editing my followup novel Heirs of Sonoduhl. It’s a sequel to the first one–set in a nearby region of Sonoduhl with mostly new characters. It is a stand-alone novel in its own right.
I am finally ready to find someone to publish Heirs of Sonoduhl and plan to start that process this weekend. With luck, it will be released some time this year!
In the meantime, I’ve been hard at work on a third tale from Sonoduhl. Once again, this one will be mostly new characters in an area far from that of the first two novels. Working on the first draft, I’m just shy of the halfway mark of 45,000 words. This novel will likely be released some time next year.
I have some other ideas for books to write after this one. I could go for Sonoduhl #4, or try my hand at an urban fantasy or scifi story I’ve been ruminating on. Got any suggestions? Drop me a note on social media or leave a comment below.
Don’t forget the get your copy of Mystics of Sonoduhl at Amazon in paperback and e-versions. And after you’ve read it, please leave a review!
